About the project
EFLA faced a challenge in its digital transformation – how to communicate change expertise, promote diverse projects and highlight sustainable solutions on an international level? To address this, EFLA called on Hugsmiðjan as partners in the journey. We were excited to participate in this project, which reflects EFLA’s international activities and their goal of a powerful digital future.
EFLA is a leading global knowledge company working in all areas of engineering and technology. There is a strong emphasis on environmental awareness in their strategy across their operations, as EFLA has offices in Sweden, France, Scotland and more.
Objectives
The new EFLA website is designed to provide users with quick and intuitive access to information while effectively showcasing the company’s projects. A key focus is on highlighting EFLA’s unique approach and strong commitment to sustainability. By presenting its extensive experience, innovative projects, and sustainable initiatives, the website aims to engage potential clients worldwide and reinforce EFLA’s position as a leader in the industry.

By focusing on clarity, functionality, and design, the website serves as a powerful tool to engage clients and future employees worldwide, reinforcing EFLA’s mission to deliver impactful engineering solutions. The website’s structure was reorganized into categories like solutions, projects, and stories so users can easily find the content they're looking for.
Technical issues
Structuring the site for multiple countries
The new website would have to represent the whole EFLA group and be designed for a multilingual audience. Websites representing each market within the group would be launched as well. Multi-language support was essential to ensure accessibility to potential clients, wherever they might be.
