Digital Iceland is an ambitious project commissioned by the Icelandic government to provide digital services and increase transparency towards its citizens. My Pages is a digital portal where citizens can process cases and obtain services while the Digital Mailbox provides personalized information and alerts. There was much emphasis on making the design for these websites user friendly and accessible while being able to interact with the many government agencies within the Digital Iceland eco system.

Journey

The objective of My Pages was to provide a digital portal for citizens to obtain services such as the information on housing and real estate, national registry, licenses and certificates, petitions, health insurance and much more. In addition they can process applications for licenses, grants and other services. The Digital Mailbox is a simple, secure and accessible way for the authorities, the administration and the Icelandic public to exchange information.
